The results showed that the contents of free Put (Putamine) and Spd (spermidine) in the resistant varieties of tomato were higher, and the free Spd / Spm (spermine) was significantly higher than the susceptible varieties. The contents of bound Put and Spd in tomato plants were lower than those in free state and the susceptible varieties were higher than those in resistant varieties. Infection with TMV (Tobacco mosaic virus) caused the levels of free and bound polyamines in tomato resistant and susceptible plants to varying degrees to increase. In general, the content of Put was synthesized 48 h before inoculation, while the content of Spm increased after 48 h of inoculation. In conclusion, the higher content of free Put and Spd and the larger free Spd / Spm values are good for plant resistance.
