君子兰属石蒜科草本花卉,别名剑叶石蒜。花呈桔红或桔黄色,叶片修长,油绿光润,亭亭玉立,雍容大方,新年春节期间开花,是装点节日的名贵花卉。多采用播种繁殖。种子8～10月成熟,采收后及时播种。可用浅盒或木箱盛装细沙,把种子种脐朝下摆放在细沙表面。覆沙厚0.5～1.5厘米,用细孔喷壶缓缓浇水,第一次水要浇透,以后每天少量浇水。播种后盆上盖玻璃片或塑料薄膜,放在20℃左右的地方,40～50天即可发芽。
