元代是中国隐逸文化盛行的又一个高峰,也是文人画发展历史上的高峰时期。吴镇作为元四家中真正“为隐而隐”的文人画家,是一位真正甘于寂寞、清贫守志的隐士,“渔隐”情怀可以说是吴镇山水画中最为明显的一个特征,无论是画中的点景人物还是画中题画诗都流露出了其渔父情结,这是一种将自己置身于社会之外,独身一人在大寂寞中寻找精神寄托和完成独善其身的道德修成的过程。而吴镇的艺术精神也真正做到了超脱与纯粹,全然没有了尘世的喧嚣,作品中只剩下了人与景的沟通与亲近过程中物我两忘的大解脱和大和谐。
