1993年9月15～16日,在著名社会学家、民盟中央主席费孝通倡议和主持下,山东省淄博市召开了建市以来规模最大、层次最高的研讨会淄博市跨世纪战略研讨会。应邀出席会议的专家、学者有:杜润生、吴象、冯之浚、董辅礽、厉以宁、吴明瑜、林子力、杨启先、李泊溪、戴园晨、明廷华、方磊、蓝世良、张登义、保育钧、李尚志、曹绍平、罗修锦等。费孝通同志在发言中对区域经济合作和制定淄博市跨世纪发展战略发表了精辟的见解。现将他的讲话整理成文发表。
