The effects of chronic severe pain on the quality of life in convalescent heroin dependence patients after detoxification were analyzed. Methods: 201 cases of compulsory isolated detoxification detoxification convalescent patients completed self-prepared general condition questionnaire, Zung’s Depression Scale, Concise Pain Assessment Scale and SF-36 scale, using multiple linear regression analysis of chronic serious Effect of pain on physiological and psychological quality of life of SF-36 scale. Results: The detection rate of chronic severe pain in heroin addicts was 40.3%. After controlling for covariates, chronic severe pain was a significant factor in the decline in both physical and psychological quality of life (β = -78.6 and -49.5, P <0.001). Conclusion: Chronic severe pain is one of the important reasons for the decline of quality of life in heroin addicts during convalescent phase of convalescence. The assessment and treatment of pain in convalescent heroin addicts should be emphasized clinically.
