Microsoft announced on August 25th that it plans to open an Internet site that is more convenient for households to purchase goods to stifle market demand for the Internet. Larry Cohen, Microsoft’s product manager, revealed that the plan, code-named BoardWalk, aims to establish practical Internet applications. Industry players believe that the biggest challenge currently facing is how to make the Internet market share even bigger. Now that many families in the United States have attempted to shop on the Internet, this is a huge commercial market. It has entered the field of online shopping, not only making Microsoft products as popular as consumer products, but also promoting sales of goods throughout the region.
