1983—1984年制糖期,我厂收购甜菜555,161吨,突破了历史最高纪录。长期冻固保管甜莱173,339吨,延长保管到6月2日,达240天。突破了全省保管甜菜200天的大关。比全省甜菜长期保管延长了45天,开堆时堆堆甜菜都保持着冰冻状态。后期加工的甜菜,经机车捣运,沟头下菜,连续作业,流送到切丝机的甜菜没有完全解冻,切丝正常,菜丝洁白,挂着冰凌,含糖率仍然保持着较高水平。五月下旬菜丝含糖率为16.03％,
