动画场景是动画叙事的基本载体和角色表演的特定空间环境,是依据剧本和导演划分镜头脚本的要求而设计的特定背景。动画片导演在明确影片主题的基础上,对场景及角色从造型风格到色彩基调要有一个整体构思,其中单个场景是环境展示的基本单位,创作者必须通过对剧情节奏及角色情绪变化进行把握,明确各个场次的基调变化,使各场景之间产生变化和对比。当然,一切变化都要围绕剧情展开,为角色塑造服务。场景设计通常包括室外空间环境设计、室内场景设计、室内外结合的场景设计以及场景中的道具设计。
