[Australian Mining and Metallurgy Institute Bulletin 1980 No. 273 reported] Ulysses uranium ore in Western Australia is mainly vanadium potassium uranium mineralization, which is related to calcareous conglomerate and clay in the valley. Alluvial deposits in the valley are mainly clays, sandwiched between quartz and feldspar debris. The three major stratigraphic sequences are (top-down): cap rock, calcareous conglomerate and clay-quartz. The relationship between the three layers is gradual. The flowing groundwater level is about 5 meters above the surface and lies in the calcareous soil
