西南民族大学博物馆藏清代《黔苗图说四十幅》册页是吴泽霖先生在民国时期到贵州进行民族调查时私人出资收到,并于一九五七年捐赠给本馆的。20世纪50年代末吴先生被错划成右派并调离了文物馆,此后,这本册页一直存放在库房里,未经研究或整理。2015年国家文物局启动全国可移动文物第一次普查,我馆在文物普查时发现该册页未编登。由于在库房存放半个多世纪,加上成都气候潮湿、保管条件有限,此浆糊褙壳装裱的册页有虫蛀现象,所幸画面和字迹处虫蛀轻微。笔者在清理研究中发现:《黔苗图说四十幅》
Museum of Southwest University for Nationalities Collection of “forty paintings of Guizhou Miao Tu” album in the Qing Dynasty was personally collected by Wu Zelin during the ethnic investigation into Guizhou Province during the Republic of China and donated to the museum in 1957. In the late 1950s, Mr. Wu was mistakenly classified as a rightist and transferred from the Museum of Art. Since then, this album has been kept in stockrooms for a long time and has not been studied or collated. In 2015, the State Bureau of Cultural Relics initiated the first census of the national movable cultural relics. During the cultural relic census, the museum found that the album was not compiled. Due to the storage in the warehouse for more than half a century, coupled with the damp climate in Chengdu and the limited storage conditions, the paste-mounted album has moth-eaten albums.
