武当山,因一代宗师张三丰所创的武当派而扬名。武当针井主产于武当山中段的八仙观茶场。这里的茶园层层绕山转,四季花开,雾霭笼罩,土质肥沃。武当针井外形紧细似针,色泽油绿显毫,汤色清澈明亮,香气高爽持久,叶底嫩绿,匀齐成朵。武当针井茶名的由来源自于中国的著名成语“只要功夫深,铁杵磨成针”。据说这个成语故事就发生在武当山镇磨针井村。武当针井以此命名,有2层含义:一是此茶茶味之甘醇来之不易,包含了制茶者的艰辛劳动;二是描述了此茶外形如针般细直,做工也很精细。

The origin of Wudang Aitai tea comes from the famous Chinese idiom “As long as Kung Fu is deep, the iron pestle is ground into needles.” It is said that this idiom happened in Wudang town grinding needle well village. Wudang needle well to name it, there are two meanings: First, this tea taste of glycol is not easy to come by, including the hard work of tea makers; second describes the shape of this tea needle as fine, very fine workmanship .
