The measurement wavelength λ max (max) = 272 nm, the standard oil concentration in the range of 0 ~ 55 mg · 1 -1 obeys Beer’s law. The coefficient of variation for the determination of oil content in wastewater samples was less than 4% (n = 8) and the recovery was higher than 95%.
