At the 25th Hong Kong Book Fair held in Hong Kong, e-reading exhibition attracted many young people. With the increasing popularity of the Internet and mobile communications devices, many publishers are worried that young people will therefore fall into a “shallow reading” cycle. Some publishers also believe that they should seize the opportunity to accelerate their transformation and seize the opportunities in the e-book market. Electronic Reading in the Internet Age In June 2014, the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups visited 522 local people aged 10-24.
