Nowadays,with the development of mode society,water pollution has become an increasingly serious problem with hazardous heavy ions and organic dyes as common pollutants.Great efforts have been made to address the pollution problem,which is key to protecting our indispensable water resources.Photocatalysis,as a new environmental technique,has been extensively used in this context because various kinds of pollutants can be decomposed completely by photocatalytically active semiconductors under light.[1]With the rapid development of nanoscience and nanotechnology,nanostructured semiconductor metal oxides have become promising photocatalysts in environmental remediation due to their easy availability,nontoxic nature,and biological and chemical stability[2,3]Thus,in recent years,many kinds of semiconductor metal oxide nanocatalysts,such as TiO2,ZnO,Fe2O3 nanocatalysts have been developed for creating a comfortable environment for human beings.
