在鋁电解生产中,采用連續碳素阳极,特別是連續預焙碳素阳极,代替以前采用的不連續阳极是有利的。此种連續預焙阳极,是用預焙碳块迭加而成,預焙碳块用碳素粘結层相互粘结在一起。碳素粘結层加热到适当溫度而硬化,并使阳极的迭加碳块互相牢固地粘結在一起。碳素粘結层的硬化必須在阳极棒插在两块迭加预焙碳块底下一块的情况下进行。阳极棒不仅起阳极导电作用,同时起支持和悬挂整个阳极作用。整个阳极逐漸下降进入电解质,而阳极棒待下降到电解质面以前,从碳块內取出。
In aluminum electrolysis, it is advantageous to use a continuous carbon anode, in particular a continuous prebaked carbon anode, instead of the discontinuous anode used previously. This kind of continuous prebaked anode is made by stacking pre-baked carbon blocks, which are bonded to each other by a carbon adhesive layer. The carbon bonding layer is heated to an appropriate temperature to harden, and the stacked carbon blocks of the anode are firmly bonded to each other. The hardening of the carbon bond layer must be carried out with the anode rod inserted underneath one of two superimposed pre-baked carbon blocks. The anode rod not only plays the role of the anode conductive, but also supports and suspends the anode. The entire anode gradually descends into the electrolyte and the anode rod is removed from the carbon block before descending to the electrolyte plane.
