南同蒲铁路是阎锡山遗留下来的窄轨铁路,并经过1956年的拨宽和50年代末60年代初不彻底改造而形成的一条先天不足、后天失调的Ⅱ级铁路线。该线沿汾河河谷走行,改造困难,特别定灵石~赵城这一段,依山傍河,楞是劈山劈出一条铁路来。担负这条线技改工程施工队伍的是铁道兵,他们缺少运营线施工的知识和经验,特别是必须绝对保证运输安全的重要性认识不足,给技改增加了困难。
Nan Tongpu Railway is a narrow-gauge rail line left behind by Yan Xishan. After a thoroughgoing reconstruction in 1956 and incomplete transformation in the late 1950s and early 1960s, it is a Grade-Ⅱ railway line that is inherently deficient and acquired the same day after tomorrow. The line along the Fenhe River Valley, transformation difficulties, in particular, set the Lingcheng ~ Zhao City this section, hillside rivers, Lengtisi is a mountain to split off a railway. Railway construction personnel responsible for this line of technical transformation are railway corps. They lack knowledge and experience in operating line construction. In particular, they must not absolutely understand the importance of transport safety and add difficulties to the technical reform.
