以古生物地层和地层接触关系论述了大凌河火山岩为早白垩世初形成。在层位，应位于九佛堂组和沙海组之间。火山岩层位的确定为在大凌河火山岩分布区找煤提供了依据。
Based on the paleontological stratigraphy and strata contact relationship, the authors discuss that the Dalinghe volcanic rock formed early during the Early Cretaceous. At the horizon, it should be located between Jiufotang and Shahai formations. The determination of volcanic reservoirs provides a basis for finding coal in the distribution area of Dalinghe volcanic rock.
