Objective To study the effect of central aspirator interface contamination on the implantation of tumor cells during surgery. Methods Sampling and loading test tubes on the inside and outside surfaces of the suction device interface (ie, wall interface) of the 55 patients undergoing surgical operation for malignant neoplasms were performed aseptically, and a cotton swab was applied to the lower interface (with the operating table connecting port). Both sides of the cavity are sampled and submitted for inspection. 24-hour cell counting at 35°C. Results The number of tumor cells under the sucker interface used in 55 patients with malignant tumors was >2 CUF/cm~2, and 28 cases were >60 CFU/cm~2, accounting for 50.9% (28/55). Conclusion This result suggests that the contamination of the central aspirator interface during surgery has a significant impact on the cultivation of tumor cells and that there should be sufficient knowledge of the cleanup of the under-the-aspirator interface to avoid the occurrence of tumor cell growth due to contamination of the central aspirator interface.
