A large caliber neodymium glass chip amplifier of 24 cm × 24 cm was introduced and tested at different charging voltages. The small signal gain coefficient of 4.9% cm-1 and the energy storage efficiency of 2.4% were obtained at a charging voltage of 2 2 kV and a pump energy density of 14.62 J / cm3.
