The easternmost point of the Asian continent is located at Cape Jaynniv (169°40′W) on the Chukchi Peninsula. The westernmost point is Baba Point (26°31′E) in the Asia Minor Peninsula; the southernmost point is in Peel Point (1°17′N) in Southeast Asia; and the northernmost point is in Russia’s Golden Horn (77°43′N). The easternmost point of the European continent is at the northern end of the Urho Mountains (66°10′E); the westernmost point is in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula.
