Quanzhou, the capital of East Asian culture, is the starting point of China’s ancient maritime Silk Road and the number one port in the world’s east. Due to the development of maritime traffic and the need of foreign trade, the ceramics industry in Quanzhou has enjoyed a flourishing development since the Song and Yuan Dynasties. Many products are exported to many countries and regions in Asia, Africa and Europe to promote the economic and cultural exchanges between China and other countries. In particular, some products are directly linked to the religious beliefs of the importing countries and make a significant contribution to enriching and enhancing their religious and cultural life. Now we introduce three kinds of ancient ceramics exported to Southeast Asia with the religious and cultural colors.
