偶氮胂Ⅲ光度法测定钍(Ⅳ)有很高的灵敏度,由于铀(Ⅵ)、锆(Ⅳ)、钛(Ⅲ)、稀土等元素干扰直接测定,因此,一般预先采用离子交换或溶剂萃取法分离干扰元素。应用 PMBP(1-苯基-3甲基-4-苯甲酰基-吡唑酮[5])-钍(Ⅳ)络合物的溶剂萃取,可以有效地将钍(Ⅳ)与铀(Ⅵ)、稀土分离,使用适当掩遮剂,同样可以使钍(Ⅳ)与锆(Ⅳ)、钛(Ⅲ)分离,但是,阴离子如硫酸根、磷酸根、氟离子在萃取时,严重影响钍(Ⅳ)的萃取率。
