Nowadays, various types of media have deepened their tentacles into people’s daily life. The media plays a role of “symbolizing” the city in the shaping and dissemination of regional images. This article takes “7 · 24 Hefei ramp rampage” as an example to discuss the evolution of public opinion information and countermeasures.
