单次灌胃给917和918对正常大鼠和四氧嘧啶致高血糖大鼠之血糖均无显著影响。多次灌胃给917和918对正常大鼠亦无显著降糖作用,却可使四氧嘧啶致高血糖大鼠之血糖较用药前显著降低,以连续用药20天后下降的最为明显。将917和918对大鼠降糖显效量扩大7倍以上,不能引起小鼠发生死亡。提示:917和918对四氧嘧啶致高血糖大鼠具有降糖作用。它们可能在临床上成为一种有效、低毒的中药口服降糖药。
A single intragastric administration of 917 and 918 had no significant effect on blood glucose in normal rats and alloxan-induced hyperglycemic rats. Repeated intragastric administration of 917 and 918 to normal rats also had no significant hypoglycemic effect, but it could significantly reduce the blood glucose level in alloxan-induced hyperglycemic rats compared with that before treatment. The drop was most pronounced after 20 days of continuous administration. The effect of 917 and 918 on the rat’s hypoglycemic effect was expanded by more than 7 times, and the mice could not be killed. Hint: 917 and 918 have hypoglycemic effect on alloxan-induced hyperglycemic rats. They may be clinically effective and low-toxic oral anti-hyperglycemic drugs.
