The comprehensive testing device and the operating conditions for studying the surface properties of the catalyst are described in detail. The surface properties of Pt-Ce-Al catalysts were investigated by high and low temperature TPD, hydrogen adsorption and hydrogen-oxygen titration. It was found that the addition of rare earth element cerium changed the TM value of TPD or the like and decreased the degree of dispersion of platinum.
