阳春四月,我们在北京饭店访问了旅美台湾作家陈若曦。陈女士身著绿底白色碎花的连衣裙,脚穿一双平跟褐色的皮鞋,乌黑的短发,清秀素雅,爽朗大方;一双炯炯有神的眼睛充满着活力。她热情地给我们倒茶,坦率真诚地跟我们交谈起来。「我怀念的还是中国人」这是陈若曦女士一九七三年出国以后第二次回来参观访友。她高兴地对我们谈到这次回国的感受,连连说:「变化太大了,太大了!」她感到,最大的变化是人们思想的开放。一九八二年她回来时,就已感到比「文革」时有很大变化,但人们仍心有余悸,不少跟她谈过话的人都特意嘱咐她:「陈女士,我们谈的,你可别写进文章里去啊!」这次回来就不同了,在交谈中人们敢于批评社会上的不良现象,以至自己的上级。陈女士说:「这次没有人跟我打招呼,有的还在我面前讲某某领导人如何如何。我还跟他们说,你们目无尊长啊!」说着,她爽朗地大笑起来。
