This article discusses the VERs of extroverted children with VERs. A total of 47 children in the normal control group were tested, 39 were not accompanied by amblyopia exotropia, including 23 cases of constant exotropia and 16 cases of intermittent exotropia. The results showed that the VERs of VEPs in the constant external oblique group and intermittent external oblique group were lower than those in the normal control group (P <0.01), which indicated that the decrease of VERBS in VEPs was related to eye position deviation. The VERBS of the constant exotropia was less than that of the intermittent exotropia (P <0.01), which was consistent with the binocular visual function test. Therefore, VERBS as an objective indicator can correctly reflect the situation of children with binocular vision function.
