Objective To investigate the value of leukocyte and blood glucose monitoring in judging the disease of foot and mouth disease. Methods A total of 115 cases were examined, including 47 cases of stage Ⅰ, 34 cases of stage Ⅱ and 34 cases of stage Ⅲ. Analysis of leukocytes in different stages of disease, blood glucose test results and the relationship between the disease. Results The number of leukocytes and blood glucose in stage III patients was significantly higher than that in stage I and II patients (P <0.05). There was no significant difference between stage I and II. Conclusion Leukocyte and blood glucose monitoring have important meanings in judging the condition of HFMD. For white blood cells and blood glucose were significantly elevated should be closely observed, early intervention can be partially prevented the progressive deterioration of the disease.
