本文追溯了《山东农业大学学报》自创刊以来４０年的历史足迹，从其发文特征──刊容量、出版时滞、学科分布、题材类型、基金论文、作者状况（年龄、职称、性别）。作者合著、作者群、作者分布规律等多方面作了全面的总结、分析、归纳，给出了能表征本刊内容的大量数据，分析和预测了该刊发展的内在规律。总结了本刊的特色和风格。提出了未来努力的方向。
This paper traced the historical footprint of “Journal of Shandong Agricultural University” for 40 years since its founding, and from the features of its publications ─ ─ publication capacity, publication delay, subject distribution, subject type, fund dissertation, author status (age, job title, gender). Author co-author, group distribution, author distribution and other aspects of a comprehensive summary, analysis and induction, given a large number of data to characterize the content of this publication, analysis and prediction of the inherent law of the development of the magazine.
