The basic parameters that affect the work stability of spur gears are the tooth profile error, the tooth direction error and the shape and position error of the contact line. In order to test these parameters, the interchange bureau set up and manufactured several types of high-precision measuring instruments by the Czech Republic BenQ Tools Factory. The Model B-5062 Universal Involute Inspector is a floor-standing instrument that verifies the involute profile and tooth orientation of externally meshed and internally-meshed and spur gears (Figure 1). The involute profile is measured by the lever - Disk universal involute tester principle to achieve. The gear to be seized is mounted coaxially with the rolling disc, and the probe of the involute part is located in the base circle
