Objective To analyze the detection of CD4 cells in 2011 in Liangshan Prefecture for HIV / AIDS patients (referred to as HIV / AIDS cases), and provide a scientific basis for improving the quality of work and the benefits of using funds. Methods The history card of Liangshan Prefecture in 2011 was downloaded from the Integrated AIDS Prevention and Control Information System. According to the death and disease status of the cases, the detection of CD4 in 2011 follow-up was analyzed. Results The detection rate of CD4 in follow-up cases in Liangshan Prefecture in 2011 was 55.9%, and the number of testing persons increased by 56.5% compared with that of 2010. Among them, the proportion of surviving HIV cases completed one CD4 test was 49.2%, the proportion of surviving AIDS cases completed two CD4 tests was 58.5%, the proportion of untreated AIDS cases completed two CD4 tests according to the national requirements was 31.6% The percentage of CD4 deaths in HIV-infected patients who completed two CD4 tests at the national level was 93.0%, 8.1% of deaths from AIDS cases and 44.0% of AIDS deaths among AIDS patients. CD4 repeat test accounted for 20.2% of the total number of people tested. Antiretroviral treatment coverage of CD4 <350 / mm3 HIV / AIDS cases was 64.9%. Conclusion The results of CD4 testing of HIV / AIDS cases in Liangshan Prefecture have achieved remarkable results with the rapid increase in the number of detection people. The detection rate of AIDS cases under treatment exceeds 23.0% of the national evaluation criteria. However, there are still some problems such as low detection rate, repeated testing and treatment coverage. In the future work, should avoid repeated testing, and strive to improve the detection ratio and treatment coverage.
