过氧化物酶体增殖物激活受体γ(PPARγ)属Ⅱ型核受体超家族成员 ,主要在脂肪细胞内表达。PPARγ是胰岛素增敏剂噻唑烷二酮类药物 (TZDs)作用的靶分子 ,又是脂肪细胞分化的重要调节因子 ,其在研究肥胖及胰岛素抵抗的发病机制中具有十分重要的意义。另外PPARγ在调节细胞生长周期和单核 /巨噬细胞生物学功能方面也起着重要作用。一些初步结果提示PPARγ激活物有可能用于治疗糖尿病以外的疾病如肿瘤等
Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) is a member of the superfamily of type II nuclear receptors and is mainly expressed in adipocytes. PPARγ is a target molecule of insulin sensitizer thiazolidinediones (TZDs) and an important regulator of adipocyte differentiation, which plays an important role in studying the pathogenesis of obesity and insulin resistance. In addition, PPARγ also plays an important role in the regulation of cell growth cycle and the biological function of monocytes / macrophages. Some preliminary results suggest that PPARγ activators may be useful in the treatment of diseases other than diabetes such as oncology
