抽水蓄能电站是提供大量蓄电储能唯一可行的技术,可用来满足2020年欧盟可再生能源目标要求。现有水坝和水库可被转换成此模式的水电站而几乎不会对环境和社会产生影响。然而,整个欧洲还未曾对这项技术的潜力进行过深入探讨。这促使各方展开合作研究,以开发一种新的评估方法。从分析方法、克罗地亚与土耳其抽水蓄能潜力、抽水蓄能开发所面临的障碍等方面研究了抽水蓄能电站在欧洲的开发潜力。
Pumped storage power plants are the only viable technology for providing large amounts of stored energy and can be used to meet the EU’s renewable energy target requirements by 2020. Existing dams and reservoirs can be converted into hydropower stations of this model with little or no environmental or social impact. However, the potential of this technology has not been discussed in depth throughout Europe. This has prompted all parties to conduct cooperative research to develop a new assessment method. The development potential of pumped storage power plants in Europe has been studied in terms of analytical methods, the potential for pumped storage in Croatia and Turkey, and the barriers to pumped storage development.
