基于SOI平台的硅基集成光学器件具有高带宽、低功耗、低延迟等优点,为实现片上光互连网络提供了一种可行的技术方案。光学路由器是片上光互连网络中负责节点数据交换的重要器件。介绍了国内外光学路由器的最新研究进展,并着重介绍了利用微环谐振器和马赫-曾德尔光开关构建N端口无阻塞光学路由器的一般性原理,进行了统计分析和仿真结果显示,应用一般性原理构建的光学路由器与之前已报道过的同规模光学路由器相比在开关个数、插入损耗、平均功耗等方面的性能均有所提升。
The silicon-based integrated optics based on the SOI platform has the advantages of high bandwidth, low power consumption and low delay, and provides a feasible technical solution for the optical interconnection on chip. The general principle of constructing N-port non-blocking optical routers by using micro-ring resonators and Mach-Zehnder optical switches is emphatically introduced. The statistical analysis and simulation results show that the application is generally Compared with the optical routers of the same size reported before, the performance of the optical router built by the principle is improved in terms of the number of switches, insertion loss and average power consumption.
