Richard Tutwiler教授长期致力于埃及沙漠地区发展问题、食物安全、贫困缓和、尼罗河盆地水资源等可持续性问题研究,取得了丰富的研究成果,得到国际学界广泛赞誉,并且由于他在其研究领域的杰出贡献,获得美国总统奖章。2011年8月17日至20日,以“留住祖先的餐桌记忆”为主题的2011杭州·亚洲食学论坛在杭州召开。这次饮食文化研究领域的国际顶级学术会议围绕着亚洲饮食文化遗产保护问题,就传统食品与食料、饮食习性与食事行为、中外饮食文化交流、饮食遗产管理和申遗等四个主要议题进行深度的学术研讨。国内外百余名知名食学研究者还共同签署和发布名为“食品安全:21世纪人权保障的底线!--2011杭州·亚洲食学论坛宣言”的倡议、商议组建亚洲食学研究会以及发布中国杭帮菜博物馆2011年10月开馆等重要资讯,二十多家媒体报道了此次盛会。Richard Tutwiler教授作为本次论坛的特邀嘉宾出席了此次盛会,并在大会上发表精彩演讲。会议百忙期间,Richard Tutwiler教授专门接受了我刊执行主编、全国高校社科学报特色栏目《饮食文化研究》策划与主持人黄桂婵编审的专访。
Prof. Richard Tutwiler has long been devoted to the research on the sustainable development of desert areas in Egypt, food security, poverty alleviation and water resources in the Nile basin. He has obtained rich research results and gained wide acclaim from international academic circles. Because of his research interests Outstanding contribution, won the US presidential medal. From August 17 to August 20, 2011, the 2011 Hangzhou Asia Food Forum was held in Hangzhou with the theme of “Retaining the ancestral table memory”. The top international academic conferences in the area of diet culture study focus on the protection of Asian food culture heritage and carry out four major topics on traditional food and foodstuffs, dietary habits and behaviors, dietary and cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign countries, Academic discussion. Hundreds of well-known researchers at home and abroad also jointly signed and published the “Food Safety: the 21st Century Human Rights Guarantee the bottom line! - 2011 Hangzhou Asia Food Forum Declaration” initiative to discuss the establishment of Asian Food Research Will release important information such as China Hang Bangcai Museum opened in October 2011, and more than 20 media coverage of the event. Professor Richard Tutwiler attended the event as a special guest of the forum and delivered a wonderful speech at the conference. During his busy schedule, Prof. Richard Tutwiler accepted an interview with editor-in-chief of our magazine, editor of “Dietary and Cultural Studies” and the editor-in-chief Huang Gui-chan of the National College Social Science Journal.
