苛性钠中的碳酸盐测定一般常用双指示剂法,样品溶解后加酚酞指示剂,用盐酸标准溶液滴定到接近终点记下读数,然后用0.1mol·L~(-1)盐酸标准溶液进一步滴定到粉红色消失记下读数,然后再加甲基橙指示剂,并用0.1mol·L~(-1)盐酸标准溶液继续滴定到橙红色记下读数。双指示剂法因采用两个指示剂分三步滴定,测定手续繁复,结果稳定性差。现我们经过长期试验和仪器的改进采用气体法测定苛性钠中的碳酸盐,样品溶解后与盐酸溶液反应放出的二氧化碳体积进行结果计算,方法快速简捷结果稳定。
