稀土氧化物是一组具有混合导电性质的半导体,即电子导电与离子导电。不同的材料其二种导电的比例是不同的。电子导电指半导体的电子或空穴导电。离子导电指氧离子在氧空位中移动,随温度升高而加剧,随氧分压升高而抑制,利用这种性质,可分别用做热敏电阻和固体电解质。
Rare earth oxide is a group of semiconductors with mixed conductivity, that is, electron conduction and ion conduction. Different materials of the two kinds of conductive ratio is different. Electron conduction refers to the semiconductor’s electrical or hole conduction. Ionic conductivity refers to the movement of oxygen ions in oxygen vacancies, exacerbated by temperature rise, and suppression as oxygen partial pressure increases. Utilizing this property, they can be used as thermistors and solid electrolytes, respectively.
