青鸟市的柏油路面大都是灌油路,面层损坏时,即需挖起重新铺筑,而将挖起的废柏油路皮抛弃。1955年经过研究试验后,将废柏油路皮加热掺加新沥青油炒制后重铺路面,成本较低(当时修筑灌油路面每平方公尺约为6元,而利用废柏油路皮重铺路面每平方公尺只需3.25元),路面也坚实平整,冬季气温降低至-10℃时路面没有破碎和裂纹现象,夏季也不溶化翻油。现将施工情况介绍如下:
