As an independent discipline of modern history, the study of Korean history began as early as the middle of the 1930s in China. After a short period of climax in the 1950s, a rapid development by leaps and bounds began in the recent thirty years since 1978 Situation, and continue until the early 21st century today. The study of Korean history in Chinese academia from the very beginning formed the research tendency of “focusing on and studying Korean history from the perspective of China”. The research results on the history of the relations between China and the DPRK far surpassed the study of the history of North Korea itself. As an independent university teaching subject, the history of Korean history in Chinese academia began to appear in Yanbian University, founded in 1949. The growth of a large number of newly recruited students who have successively received highly-educated Korean history education at home and abroad in the recent three decades has become a powerful driving force for the leap-forward development of the history of North Korea in China’s academic circles. Korean history education in Chinese academia is still at an extremely early stage. Understand the history of the Korean Peninsula in an objective, correct and comprehensive manner, and then make a scientific interpretation and interpretation of the history of the Korean Peninsula based on the Chinese perspective and position so as to make it a Korean characteristic with Chinese characteristics and even China An important part of the disciplines of world history and world history of North Korea should undoubtedly be the goal of the joint efforts of researchers of Korean history in the foreseeable future.
