“手无缚鸡之力”的学生将不会受到重点大学青睐。不久前,教育部体卫艺司司长杨贵仁表示,今后将把中学阶段学生体质健康情况作为高校招生的重要参考依据,对连续两年或者几年学生体质健康下降的省份,要调整其重点高校招生的指标(2006年12月26日《京华时报》)。应该承认,我们的学生体质差是不争的事实,我们投入了大量时间、精力和金钱,却培养出了不少“胖无力”“豆芽菜”,的确应该“文明其精神,野蛮其体魄”。但看看华罗庚、陈景润的事迹就知道,体质差并非成不了社会精英,体质差者也有权利接受高等教育。
