Art Deco originating in France had a brief performance in Shanghai in the 1920s and 1930s and was subsequently replaced by a Jazzy Style from the United States. However, these pure imported goods were repeatedly interpreted by the people of Shanghai, forming a typical Chinese-style decoration: Shanghai style decoration. Ms. Natalie Delande is a full-time modern modern art history research headquarters, the first University of Paris Department of Architectural History doctoral student, research topic for Shanghai modern architecture. This article is a special contribution written by her in Chinese for “Book City,” which is full of French-style Chinese, which in itself constitutes a unique charm.
