两年前，我曾给《价格理论与实践》写过一篇短文，题为《物价下跌非福音》。当时，很多人还在维持通货膨胀时期形成的思维定式，惧怕物价上涨，而对物价下跌有着天然的好感。这其实是从消费者角度观察事物，使很多人对于正露苗头的通货紧缩给经济运行带来的种种困难和问题缺乏?
Two years ago, I wrote an essay on “Price Theory and Practice” titled “Falling prices are not the gospel.” At the time, many people were still thinking in the form of maintaining inflation. They feared rising prices and had a natural feeling of falling prices. This is actually a matter of observing things from the consumer’s point of view. Many people are facing a great deal of difficulties and problems in the economic operation caused by deflation.
