唐代是茶叶生产和茶叶文化发展史上的第一个高峰。在这一时期,产茶地区、茶叶的产量和质量,较之前代都有了极大的提高和飞跃。第一部茶叶专著陆羽的《茶经》应运而生,标志着茶叶的经济、文化地位得到了确立。唐代的文艺是一个相当繁荣的时期,而且其中反映茶叶各方面的作品也是非常有代表性。特别是以茶的生产和品饮为内容,在诗书画中有着不少著名的作品。
The Tang Dynasty is the first peak in the history of tea production and tea culture. During this period, the output and quality of tea in tea producing areas have greatly improved and leapfrogged from the previous generations. The first tea monograph Lu Yu’s “Tea Sutra” came into being, marking the economic and cultural status of tea has been established. The literature and art in the Tang Dynasty was a period of considerable prosperity, and the works reflecting all aspects of tea were also very representative. Especially in tea production and drinking as the content, there are many famous works in poetry and painting.
