内蒙古敖汉旗博物馆于1995年秋,收藏一件玉斧。据传,此玉斧出土于该旗的大甸子乡一带。玉斧为浅绿色玉质,有墨绿色纹理,体态修长,表面磨光,局部酸蚀严重。上端一孔两面穿,平刃较钝向一侧斜,两侧边圆棱,横截面呈扁圆形,内端平。斧长19.8、内宽4、孔径1.1—0.7、最厚1.9厘米(图一)。斧身刻磨出突起的花纹。上半部为横向条带状纹饰,中间为两道凸弦纹的边框内刻
