In the late 1980s, the post-colonialism theory of translation emerged and led people to examine the relationship between translation and empire, national identity and cultural hegemony from the perspective of post-colonialism. Using the critical theory of post-colonialism to analyze the infiltration of disadvantaged cultures by strong cultures in translation, the awakening of disadvantaged cultures and the influence of interstitial space on translators’ choices of traditional strategies. By studying the post-colonial space of intersexism, the horizon of translation can be expanded to better integrate different cultures among different ethnic groups and enrich the languages of various countries.
