在众多的台商和外商眼中,江苏省的南通市是一方极有吸引力的热土。仅就台商而言,截至今年6月,台胞在南通投资兴办的企业已突破400家,投资总额达5.7亿美元,注册资金超过3.97亿美元。而且,诚如南通副市长华保良在接受笔者采访时所说,南通市的对台经贸合作,一是数量增多。台资企业的数量在来这里投资的国家和地区中占第二位,已占全市外贸企业的近20％;二是规模扩大。台商投资规模由1992年平均每个项目60万美元扩大到现在的160万美元;三是领域拓宽。
In the eyes of a large number of Taiwanese businessmen and foreign investors, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, is an extremely attractive place for the party. As far as Taiwanese businessmen are concerned, as of June this year, the number of enterprises that Taiwan compatriots have invested in Nantong has exceeded 400, with a total investment of 570 million U.S. dollars and a registered capital of more than 397 million U.S. dollars. Moreover, as Nantong Deputy Mayor Hua Baoliang told me in an interview, Nantong’s economic and trade cooperation with Taiwan first increased. The number of Taiwan-funded enterprises come here to invest in the second place, accounting for nearly 20% of the city’s foreign trade enterprises; the second is to expand the scale. The scale of investment by Taiwanese businessmen increased from an average of 600,000 U.S. dollars in 1992 to an annual amount of 1.6 million U.S. dollars. Third, the field has been broadened.
