The electrochemical corrosion behavior of 304 austenitic stainless steel in nitric acid solution with different concentrations was studied by potentiodynamic polarization curve measurement and open circuit potential measurement. The electrochemical reaction of 304 austenitic stainless steel in nitric acid solution was studied. Exploring. The experimental results show that 304 stainless steel possesses typical polarization curves of stainless steel in nitric acid solution and has many passivation and over-passivation zones. The nitric acid concentration promotes the formation of passive film on the surface of stainless steel,
