黑潮为北太平洋西部最主要的海流,它流径琉球群岛西侧的部分,构成了中国黄东海环流系统的主干。我国近海区域的水文特征以及海流、水团的分布、变化等等,在不同程度上都受到这部分黑潮的影响。因此,研究这部分黑潮,不仅对阐明黑潮本身的动力结构具有重大意义,而且对阐明中国近海的海况变化并从而建立比较可靠的预报方法,也是十分必要的。
The Kuroshio, the most dominant current in the western North Pacific, flows to the west of the Ryukyu Islands and forms the backbone of the circulation system of the Yellow Sea and East China Sea. The hydrological characteristics of the coastal areas in our country, as well as the distribution and changes of currents and water masses, are all affected to varying degrees by this part of the Kuroshio. Therefore, to study this part of the Kuroshio is not only of great significance in elucidating the dynamic structure of the Kuroshio itself, but also to clarify the changes of the sea conditions in China’s offshore areas and thereby establish a more reliable forecasting method.
