昌耀的诗以抒写悲剧精神、忧患意识为“叙事”内容,以善恶是非为标准的传统悲剧价值判断,展示被流放荒原的经历,亦是他的个人的生命苦难。他于苍茫的青海大地,感受内心的大孤独与大寂寞。诗的叙事文本以小说情境出现,语言与语言间以诗性缝合。由此造成了绵密的情境,创造出更为真实的“不可知论”。融入现实或离开现实,都有着许多“不确定”因素,玄学色彩突出。冷调的抒写,更呈显出悖论式的生存状态下的一种高贵的忧伤。
