玉米杂交种子的利用推广使玉米产量大幅度的增长,它的增产效果是世界公认的。玉米杂交种的应用,必须具备两项基本条件,一是杂交优势要强,二是纯度要高,如果纯度较低,特别是自交粒过多,就会抵消杂交种的增产作用,甚至严重减产。近年来,由于应用劣质玉米杂交种给生产造成严重损失的事时有发生。据我们试验考查,玉米杂交种子纯度每降低1%,产量相应减产0.7~0.85%,其直线回归方程为Y=227.93+9.9x(Y为产量x为纯度)。
The popularization and utilization of corn hybrid seeds have greatly increased the yield of maize and its yield-increasing effect is universally acknowledged. The application of corn hybrids must have two basic conditions, one is hybrid superiority, the second is high purity, if the purity is low, especially the self-grain too much, it will counteract the increased production of hybrids, or even severely reduced production . In recent years, there have been times when production of low quality maize hybrids has been severely damaged. According to our tests, the linear regression equation of Y = 227.93 + 9.9x (Y is the yield x is the purity) for every 1% decrease in the purity of maize hybrid seeds and the corresponding decrease in yield by 0.7-0.85%.
